Annie started work as the school secretary in December of 1990, a role she still holds in 2016.  For a period between March 1996 and January 2001 she was reassigned to a school in Sudbury but then returned to her role at A B Ellis.  Annie remains one of the constants at the school.  Principals have come and gone, the staff has changed dramatically over the years, but Annie has continued as that anchor at the heart of the school.
