 For many years it was the tradition for the whole school to gather in the gym on the last day before the Christmas holiday to sing carols together. In his role as music teacher Bob Sproule spent the weeks leading up to Christmas teaching these songs to the children. Then on the day he would stand up on a riser and with Mrs Landry at the piano he would conduct the crowd that had gathered around him.     After Mrs Landry retired and then
Mr Sproule, the tradition continued under the
leadership of Mr. Batman and Mrs McNichol.
