The annual School Track and Field meet took place usually over a two day period and involved all grades.  Those who were not competing constituted the cheering section.  The athletes who were successful at the school level went on to compete in a "Board" meet.  Most of the events happened at the nearby community track.  Some events, mostly jumping events, took place at the school, either in the schoolyard or the gym.  Below are images of track and field events over the years.
